NADA_Full_Ident-teal

I’m honoured to be teaching a workshop at this year’s Northern Arabic Dance Association’s Annual General Meeting and Day of Dance alongside Ann-Marie and Pharaon from Ireland. For more information see the event FB page.

I’ll be teaching Tribal Roots, an introduction to American Tribal Style®.  I’ll be guiding dancers through the foundation movements and concepts of ATS®, the root of modern tribal belly dance. ATS® is a modern group dance that fuses North African dance, Flamenco and traditional Indian Dance.

The event is open to non members of NADA as well and begins with a meeting of members, followed by workshops in dance, cuisine and costume making, open to all.

Workshops or the feast and show tickets can be purchased individually or day tickets are also available.

The place: Haxby Memorial Hall, 16 The Village,
YO32 3HT Haxby (an easy taxi share from York Station).
There is ample free parking at the hall and in the local area.

The date: Saturday 27th February 2016.

Our day of Dance will include workshops, performances, fun, food and socialising. Put the date in your diary!
